The Comporta region is located an hour south of Lisbon and is rightly considered the "Hamptons" of Western Europe. Part of the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve, this region includes long white sandy beaches and translucent blue seas. With a mix of rurality and exclusivity, it is home to famous resorts such as the Sublime Comporta (Best Boutique Hotel in Europe in 2020, World Travel Awards), the Dunas Douradas Beach Club (Best Boutique Hotel in Europe in 2023, World Travel Awards) or the Hotel Vermelho, designed by Christian Louboutin.
The gastronomy is marked by the abundance of fish and seafood and includes restaurants such as the JNcQUOI Beach Club, with architecture by the famous Vincent Van Duysen or the "Praia na Comporta" designed by the well-known designer Philippe Starck, who owns a vacation home in the area.
Comporta is home to celebrities such as Madonna, Jeff Bezos, Lenny Kravitz, Nicolas Sarkozy, Carolina of Monaco and many other well-known figures from the national and international jet set who choose the "Ecochic Paradise of the European Jet" as a vacation destination or for housing/investment.
In this area, there is a plot of land with a total area of 81,883 m2, including a 124 m2 house and a 60 m2 annex. The house is completely encased in glass, with a floor and structure in wood and corten steel. It has 2 bedrooms, a living room with an American-style kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a utility room. The surrounding land includes cork oak forest, pine forest and eucalyptus trees, and has mains water (based on its own borehole), electricity and sewage.
In addition to the 124 m2 house, a further 376 m2 can be built, up to a maximum of 500 m2. These additional 376 m2 can be used to build a single dwelling house. Alternatively, if the objective is income, as an example, 10 suites of 36 m2 could be developed on the remaining 376 m2.
