In Portugal, agents do not need a licence, but they must work under the AMI Licence of a Real Estate Broker.

What are the requirements to become a agent with eXp Realty in Portugal?

Have at least 2 years' experience as a agent in Portugal, be resident in Portugal and speak and read Portuguese.

What are the fees for joining eXp Realty in Portugal?

  • Initial Fee of 100,00€ + VAT 23% (includes 1st month's fee)


  • Monthly Fee of 50,00€ + VAT 23%

What's my commission on a deal?

Until the agent reaches a gross commission of 100.000,00€ (CAP), the commission will be 75%.
After the CAP, the commission will be 100% (with only the 250,00€ operating fee per deal deducted).

Can I join eXp Realty de Portugal if I don't have experience as a agent?

Yes, you can, if you choose one of the following conditions:

1) eXp has an educational platform for agents with no experience in the real estate market. The Mentorship Programme provides new agents with an e-learning platform where they can acquire the fundamental knowledge needed to start and build a successful real estate career. Each agent will take part in the Mentorship Programme and will be a Mentor who will then be paired with an eXp Certified Mentor who is an agent in the same local geographical area.

2) To be a member of one of the teams formed and authorised at eXp Realty Portugal, where they must have the prior acceptance and subsequent professional support and monitoring of the Team Leader.
